Twenty-six years of moving perishables, calmly.

Cremona Logistics Services was built by produce people, for produce people. We exist to take the risk out of importing fruit, vegetables and seafood — quietly, reliably, season after season.

Our story

From a single citrus line to a continental cold chain

Cremona began in 1998 as a two-person citrus desk in Valencia, shipping Spanish oranges to wholesale markets in the Low Countries. The model was simple and it still is: know the grower, protect the temperature, get the paperwork right, and never promise volume you can’t land.

As customers asked for more — exotics through the winter, grapes out of season, seafood alongside the fruit programme — we grew the origin network rather than the marketing department. Today we operate from Rotterdam with origin desks in Valencia, Berlin and Guayaquil, but the discipline hasn’t changed.

We are deliberately not a household name. Our reputation lives where the trade actually happens: on B2B agro-trading platforms, in the aisles of Fruit Logistica, in customs databases, and in the order books of buyers who’ve worked with us for over a decade.

What we believe

Principles that survive a bad season

Perishables punish shortcuts. These are the standards we hold when things go wrong — not just when they go right.

Honest availability

We quote what we can genuinely land in grade and on time. No phantom volume, no surprises on the dock.

Protect the chain

Temperature integrity is non-negotiable. Every consignment is monitored and logged from origin to delivery.

Know the origin

We contract directly with growers and audit the farms. Traceability isn’t a feature — it’s the relationship.

Paper before product

Phytosanitary and import documentation is prepared ahead of arrival to avoid demurrage and rejection.

One desk, one team

Each account has a dedicated trader who knows your specification, your market and your tolerances.

Plan for the gap

We run both hemispheres so a short crop in one region is already covered by volume moving from another.
